How to Love Yourself P.6 - Build Your Resource Bank! (Post #9)

Greetings Hottest Moms! Welcome to our sixth installment on our 10-part How to Love Yourself series. Today we’re talking about Building Your Resource Bank. Quick Question: How many of you can plan a good time? I’m sure you get incredibly creative and resourceful in the planning details. The question is: Are you as creative and resourceful when planning for a bad time? Do you even spend any time preparing for a bad time?

You know life is unpredictable and we have good and bad times. We spend tons of time and money planning and having good times. Do you think if you used some of that time and money preparing for getting through bad times that you might be better prepared for a crisis? Think of it as a bank of resources. If you look for mental health organizations, programs, different community groups, then you can store those resources/tools in your bank and use them for when you need them. Take control and make those connections!

What’s the biggest benefit in all this? You won’t waste precious time and energy searching for support when you’re already feeling overwhelmed. Instead, you’ll know exactly where to turn. That’s confidence. That’s how to build resilience. You’re already beautiful! And that’s how to love yourself! We'd love to hear from you.
